Colonial home in Mérida Centro
Located in the desirable area of Santa Ana, just a block from beautiful Paseo de Montejo, you’ll be right where you want to be, close to restaurants, museums, the cathedral, art galleries, shopping, banks, and leisurely strolls.
The architect-designed house, by Estilo Arquitectos, includes a spacious living/dining room, center atrium with tropical plants and fountain, three bedrooms and three baths. Custom cabinetry is in each room, and the principal bedroom has a gorgeous tropical bathroom that is one-of-a-kind and even has its own private patio. This is all on one level making it super easy and accessible, the open kitchen is great for entertaining, there is even a rare wine cellar off the kitchen and laundry room.
There’s a one car garage which is also rare, and solar panels to keep the A/C bills almost nonexistent. The pool entertaining area with outdoor kitchen area is stunning and so welcoming year round. Above that is a sun terrace overlooking the pool and property. The asking price includes all the furniture you see in the photos.

Mérida Centro is inside Mexico’s restricted zone, which runs 50 km inland from any coast. A foreign buyer here holds title through a fideicomiso — a Mexican bank trust in which you are the named beneficiary. It is not a lease: you can live in the property, rent it, remodel it, sell it and leave it to your heirs. The term is 50 years and it renews.
The purchase completes before a notario público, a state-appointed lawyer, and typically takes 30–60 days.
