This beautiful 1-bedroom and 1-bathroom beachfront home is a great buy. It is located in the very tranquil fishing village of Santa Clara, East of Progreso and Telchac.

If you are looking for the perfect retreat from the noise and crazy pace of today’s life, you’ve found it! This is life at a very different pace.

The front porch offers a full view of the beach. The bedroom also has a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico. There is a nice size living room, a large bathroom and a colorful Mexican-style kitchen. The covered parking area has a very beautiful palapa and could be used for outdoor cooking.

In addition to the front and back patios, there is a wonderful rooftop patio with a million-dollar view that could be turned into a second bedroom with bath.

The lot is an ample size at 387.40 m2 (4169.94 square feet).

With the beautiful coconut trees in the front yard, a hammock on the front porch, with the sound of the waves–and drinking your favorite beverage–this is heaven! All this accompanied by seabirds and songbirds, clear skies and mild temperatures.

This beauty may be a bit off-the-beaten-path, but if you want peace in your life surrounded by beauty (and fresh fish straight from the boat every day), this is your dream home. THIS IS YOUR PERFECT RETIREMENT HOME.

As an extra bonus, it is furnished AND located 1 block from a very good-quality restaurant!

The house has been very well-maintained (touch-up work will be addressed before the sale of the property).

What owning this actually involves

Yucatán Beach is inside Mexico’s restricted zone, which runs 50 km inland from any coast. A foreign buyer here holds title through a fideicomiso — a Mexican bank trust in which you are the named beneficiary. It is not a lease: you can live in the property, rent it, remodel it, sell it and leave it to your heirs. The term is 50 years and it renews.

The purchase completes before a notario público, a state-appointed lawyer, and typically takes 30–60 days.
